Welcome to the “Confessions of an RA Mom” blog!

Being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in October 2004, I have been and continue to go through many experiences that I feel I need to share with others.   This is a Christian based blog that I can only hope informs you of the disease and ways you can make the most of your every day life.  I want to encourage you to find the strength with every step you take, every breath you breathe, to trust God and what he has in store for you through your infirmities.  Having RA is one of most challenging things I have gone through in my life, as it is for most, but I hope that we can come together as a network of believers that stand and say “God, I give my disease to you and ask that you lead, guide and direct me to do and accomplish Your will.”  In Jesus Name.  Amen.

At the end of each category or page, you will find a comment section.  Please feel free to respond with any questions or comments you may have!

 CONFESSIONS

I am putting this blog into God’s hands, to hopefully help you to strengthen your faith in God, and to get your through your rough days.  Whether you have RA or some other kind of infirmity, I hope to encourage you in some way every day.

The confessions I will be posting on this blog are my own feelings, thoughts, prayers and truths about what is going on in my life, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.  I welcome your comments, and will be glad to answer any questions or discuss any issue with you through this blog.  Please pass this blog to anyone and everyone that may need a little encouragement or inspiration. Thank you in advance and may God Bless you!

Kim, even though I am not an RA patient, you have been such an inspiration to me. I know that you have had days when it hurt so bad that you didn’t think you had the strength to get up, but by the grace of GOD you pulled yourself up for your family. Time does heal all. You may never have the strength that you once had, but GOD will give you exactly what you need. Keep the faith and give it all to GOD. I love you with all my heart.

GOD IS GOOD, BETTER YET GREAT! ALL THE TIME! He is too wise to make a mistake and too just to do any wrong. Thank you for sharing your faith went others. The angels in heaven are rejoicing over you sharing your faith rather than clamming up in depression or anger. God is overjoyed and for that you have strength…The joy of the Lord is your strength and because of your faith, you are your family’s strength. Stay strong and prayed up. Keep the faith and remember that I am always praying for your continued recovery in mind, body and soul. Take care and continue to be blessed! Love Ya!

Kim , I just figured this out. What a great and inspiring blog, I love the part about the radio, I can do that to God sometimes, he can speak to me and it is just background noise, very convicting, I am so proud of you and how your are allowing God to use this part of your life,to inspire and spur others on, I am one of them. Keep going girl. Love
Lisa

I first off want to THANK YOU for this site! I can’t remember when I picked it up, but I’m going through it now and truly appreciate it. I’m a Christian with Rheumatoid Spondylitis/R.A.

I also suffer from infertility and depression.

My hope is in Christ, my road right now is trying to understand all these diseases.

Please feel free to contact me. I keep a blog that is pretty diverse, but you can follow my arthritis tag if you only want to read about my arthritis related posts, that link is this.

Again, thanks for this site, and I look forward to more posts.

Hi Kim, I’ll look for that group. I have an account for the arthritis foundation’s site, but I can’t find my info! I’ll have to take care of it after a nap, I didn’t get enough rest last night. But I look forward to joining. Thank you.

PS still trying to find out what happened with my AF account, I’ll probably start another because I do plan to join the group you mentioned to me.
